Membership in Pack Recovery is contingent on recovery. When NC State students reach out to Pack Recovery, they are often invited to meet one-on-one with someone from the CRC as a means to learn more about the community. Talking to someone individually first can help ease the transition into the group. This is an opportunity for NC State students to learn more about Pack Recovery, including its mission, activities, and members.
There is no requirement that members be affiliated with any other recovery, 12 step, or support group; however, there is a requirement that the student be committed to abstaining from substance use. Participants are expected to respect the confidentiality of others and commit to creating a safe space that is rooted in the principles of recovery. A student wishing to join Pack Recovery meets with the CRC Coordinator, who determines whether or not the student meets the criteria for group membership.

- Thirty days sobriety. Students with less than thirty days sobriety should reach out for an individual consultation appointment at email@example.com.
