Outreach Programs

Engage in a variety of experiences that allow you to find connection and support.

Prevention Outreach Programs

Prevention outreach programs are interactive, skills-based experiences designed to help you build resilience, strengthen connections, and support your overall well-being — before challenges become crises. Whether it’s learning stress management through nature walks, exploring your identity with creative projects, practicing mindfulness in daily life, or building academic and social skills, these programs give you practical tools you can use right away. They’re open to all students, free to join and focus on personal growth in a supportive, inclusive environment.

All will have the option to contribute to Sound Around Town, a participatory science project led by Dr. Caren Cooper at NCSU, aiming to further our understanding of how sound relates to wellness. We will start and end outside the Campus Health Center entrance that faces the Rocky Branch Trail. Please bring water and comfortable clothing (hat, sunglasses, etc.).  https://soundaroundtown.org/
