Jarrett Blaize

Bio

Jarrett Blaize joined Prevention Services as a CARES Coordinator in Fall 2023. He is dedicated to supporting all students who may experience a multitude of challenges and barriers to success while operating in this role. As a New York native, Jarrett obtained his Bachelor of Science in Human Development and Family Relations from SUNY Plattsburgh and obtained his Master of Social Work from Hunter College. Most recently, Jarrett became a Licensed Clinical Social Worker-Associate and worked as a clinical social worker on an Inpatient Psychiatric Unit. He also has experience working in child welfare and provides outpatient psychotherapy part-time. Jarrett’s ultimate goal is to create a safe and empowering space for students to express themselves freely while taking control of their own destiny and academic success.
